We work as health detectives to help find out the root causes of your symptoms, so you can improve your health at the deepest levels and then stay healthy for the rest of your life!
To do this, we use cutting edge functional lab tests that help us see how your body is functioning. The tests we run can vary from client to client, but the four tests below are the ones we run most often and in most cases it's not necessary to order tests outside of these four.
DUTCH Complete hormone test ($319)
We recommend the DUTCH Complete to almost all of our clients. This is $319 through us (an $80 discount). There is a lot of information on their website and feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
This is the most comprehensive, informative hormone test on the market and by far the greatest value.
It helps give information such as...
- What could be causing low/high cortisol, progesterone, estrogen, testosterone
- Where you and your body need the most support
- The best approach to take to re-balance hormones (something other hormone tests don't do well)
More information can be found on the DUTCH Test website. https://dutchtest.com/shop/
GI-Map by Diagnostic Solutions ($419 cash pay)
This is by far our favorite test to get the most comprehensive view at how your gut is functioning and what blocks might be present. (And we know a lot of stool tests!)
Imbalances, stress, or inflammation in the gut often play a role in many different symptoms, including, but not limited to:
- Joint pain
- Skin issues
- Brain Fog
- Depression and anxiety
- Autoimmune issues
- IBS/constipation/diarrhea/stomach pain/bloating
We get a lot of people who have already done stool tests with their doctors and that everything was "normal," but time after time when we get the results from this more comprehensive panel, we find major answers and imbalances to work on.
Insurance information for GI-Map
Insurance can be an option for the GI-Map, but most plans don't cover it. If you try to go this route and don't get reimbursed, you'll end up paying $439 (US Residents) - an $80 Medical Director Fee + $359 to Diagnostic Solutions.
"We are not contracted with any commercial insurance company and are considered Out-of-Network. To determine whether a claim may be covered please contact your insurance provider. If you are concerned that a claim may not be covered you can choose to prepay for your testing and we will provide you with a statement that you may then submit to your insurance provider for coverage determination and if approved, payment directly to you."
The insurance code FDN (Functional Diagnostic Nutrition) uses for the GI-MAP is K90.9.
Cost for lab: Pre-pay cash price is $359 for U.S. clients, $379 for Canada. For U.S. clients, there is an insurance billing option where the client submits a $179 deposit with their sample and is billed by the lab after the claim is filed for any unpaid portion. Kits are drop shipped from the lab (to the U.S. and Canada).
Note: Clients with a high deductible insurance plan will likely end up paying close to the cash price if insurance does not pay.
Comprehensive Organic Acids Profile from Great Plains ($319 cash pay)
This test is phenomenal for filling in the missing puzzle pieces and gives us over 40 markers which show us how your body is functioning overall. This can be described almost as a "functional physical".
Your body has countless metabolic pathways, and this looks at which ones are operating normally, and which ones are out of range.
This includes giving us information such as:
- How effectively your body burns fat
- How balanced is your serotonin, dopamine, and other neurotransmitters (feel good chemicals)
- How well are your detox pathways working, and which ones need more support
- What might be causing low energy levels (or poor mitochondrial function)
- Are there any nutrient deficiencies going on

LEAP MRT Food Sensitivity Testing
$345 for 130 foods
$385 for 170 foods (recommended)
This blood panel is an excellent way to add another layer of effectiveness to your program.
There are many different food sensitivity tests out there today, and we have a major preference for the LEAP MRT blood test because it looks at the most important thing - which foods are causing an inflammatory reaction.
These reactions can cause or exacerbate all sorts of symptoms:
- fatigue, lethargy
- brain fog
- allergy symptoms (sneezing, runny nose)
This test will generally flag anywhere from 5-20 foods that are causing an inflammatory reaction in your body, and when you avoid these foods for a period of time (it can vary person to person), it'll accelerate the healing process no matter what symptoms you're struggling with.
